Xilovib 10% Lotion contains Minoxidil 10%w/v and is used to regrow hair on the vertex area of the scalp in men. Main uses: regrow hair on the top of the scalp (vertex area) in men; hereditary (male pattern) hair loss limited to the vertex; for external use on the scalp only.

Common side effects of Xilovib 10% Lotion include scalp itching or irritation; scalp redness, dryness or flaking; burning or stinging at the application site; unwanted hair growth on the face or other body areas; changes in hair colour or texture; temporary increase in hair shedding when starting use. Get medical help at once if you notice chest pain or rapid heartbeat; dizziness or light-headedness; sudden weight gain.

Must not be used by women. Must not be used by anyone under 18 years of age, and must not be used on babies and children. Must not be used when hair loss is sudden or patchy, when there is no family history of hair loss, when the reason for hair loss is not known, or for frontal baldness or a receding hairline. Must not be used along with other medicines applied on the scalp; check with a doctor first if you have heart disease, do not apply on other parts of the body, avoid contact with the eyes, and keep away from fire or flame as the lotion is flammable.
