Seravib F Vibcaps are inhalation capsules with salmeterol and fluticasone propionate for the regular control of asthma. Main uses: regular treatment of asthma in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older; for asthma not adequately controlled on a long-term asthma control medicine such as an inhaled corticosteroid; for asthma that needs to be started on both an inhaled corticosteroid and a long-acting beta2-agonist; long-term management of COPD where a long-acting bronchodilator is required.

Common side effects of Seravib F Vibcaps Capsule include nasopharyngitis (cold-like symptoms in the nose and throat); oral candidiasis (thrush in the mouth and throat); headache; cough; back pain; hoarseness of voice. Get medical help at once if you notice serious asthma-related events including hospitalisation, intubation and death; adrenal suppression or raised cortisol levels; worsening of existing infections such as tuberculosis, chickenpox or measles.

Must not be used together with another medicine containing a long-acting beta2-agonist.
